I am in France! Five days full of French charm and a unique atmosphere lie behind me. With a crêpe in my hand, I strolled past impressive places such as the Arc de Triomphe and the glowing Moulin Rouge. I spent the evenings with party people, dancing into the night. The crowning glory was a sparkling firework display that lit up the sky and created unforgettable memories.

My journey takes me to Germany. I discovered my homeland all over again and ended up at a huge birthday party with thousands of guests. I made many new friends and danced through the night. I even got to marvel at the the Brandenburg Gate in its full glory during a ride on the Ferris wheel. This trip and the spectacular fireworks at the end will stay in my memory forever.

I am in Bella Italia! After a two-year break from traveling, I was finally able to enjoy La Dolce Vita for 5 days and soak up the indescribable atmosphere with gelato in hand. Everywhere I met warm, open-minded people who brought me closer to the country with its loving details. I spent the last evening at the Milan Cathedral. The big fireworks there will stay in my memory forever. I still have goose bumps now when I think back on it.

I’ve heard a lot about the country, but I wanted to see it with my own eyes: India. The culture, the food, the people – it’s supposed to be a real cultural shock. It was breathtaking. I even managed to parachute. From up there even the Taj Mahal seemed small. My favorite place on the trip to relax? A small café that looked like a living room in the middle of a tent town.

My journey took me to Great Britain. I was particularly taken with London – Tower Bridge, the London Eye, Big Ben. A friend I met on my trip through the USA last year invited me to a huge welcome party on my first evening. I met so many new people and we danced for hours. That night, we were all here for the same reason: To have fun together and enjoy life to the fullest.

I needed to see more of the world, so I came to the United States. With my van I traveled through the country, saw the Capitol and the Statue of Liberty and tried my luck in Las Vegas. Overwhelmed by the size and impressions of the country, I returned home. Determined that this would not be my last journey.

Asia – exotic, unexpected, overwhelming. So many different people in such large buildings in such a small space. We are all stuck on a big planet and yet there is so much that we don’t know yet that we can still experience. Through the exchange with other cultures we grow beyond ourselves. I want more.

The history of ancient Rome aroused my interest. What impressed me most was the Colosseum. Within the old walls I could literally smell the history. As I walked along the Tiber, the ground beneath my feet vibrated. What I thought was an earthquake turned out to be a gigantic rave. Here I met old acquaintances from past journeys. Old stories were joined by new memories.

After the uprising around the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012, my interest in this important culture was aroused. So I catched a flight and climbed the Kukulcán Pyramid of the Mayans in Chichén Itzá. There I met travelers from different countries who shared the same destination with me. Sometimes we have to understand the past in order to understand the future.

I already knew castles from my home country. But this one was different. Until recently, it was still an insider tip. Now I was standing in front of it with hundreds of people and we all admired the dream of a visionary carved into stone. Every effort on this journey had been worth it. I hope to be able to make my dreams come true in the same way.

Slowly I found my place in this world. I was already able to meet some fantastic people on my trip. I danced through the night with Deichkind. After the party with Fedde le Grand, my tired legs just carried me to bed. The spontaneous visit of Sven Väth is also unforgettable. But this isn’t the end. My journey continues.

It was a time of new impressions, new people and parties. I always had my tent with me and exchanged views with other travellers on the campsites. That’s how I discovered the hardstyle scene for myself. Brennan Heart conquered my heart in the storm.

I was on the go all the time. I experienced live shows and met new people as I explored the area. So I found a music store in a small side street with a huge selection of CDs and records. A cover hit me right in the eye: The Airbeat One project album. From then on it became my constant companion

The city was just too expensive for me. So I decided to move to a smaller town than I am used to. It was nice in Zachun, but I felt constricted. So I made new plans for next year.

A while ago, I met someone in a bar who told me about the trance scene. Since I wanted to try something new, I tried to get a foothold in the scene. I was hoping to find a place there for me. But I had to find out that I hadn’t arrived yet.

I began not only to change myself, I wanted to grow. So I went out more of myself, got to know new people and new ways of thinking. I looked for new hobbies and dived deeper into the world of electronic music.

Today I lay on a large meadow and looked dreamy into the sky. While the planes were circling over me, I imagined how far I could go. I decided to think bigger and bigger in order to reinvent myself.

My highlight this year was a concert with Paul Kalkbrenner. The bass was lurking in my stomach. I couldn’t stop dancing. I don’t know when it was the last time I felt so alive.

It’s the 06. July 2002. A few days ago, when I was sitting around the corner in my favourite restaurant and saw the same faces forever for the thousandth time, I was overwhelmed by a feeling of dissatisfaction. I felt bored and longed for a change. And so I made a decision. I had to leave my safe environment. Early this morning, I packed my things and left to find out what really makes me happy. I knew it would be the beginning of something big.
